RHODA DAKAR SINGS THE BODYSNATCHERS Rhoda Dakar started her career in 1979 as the lead vocalist with 2-Tone Records group The Bodysnatchers. The band hit the charts with a cover of the Dandy Livingstone classic Let's Do Rock Steady. The Bodysnatchers toured with The Specials, Toots and the Maytals, and The Selecter before splitting in 1980. Rhoda went on to join The Specials for the More Specials and In The Studio albums and co-wrote the seminal Free Nelson Mandela single. An AGMP Concerts presentation.
