SISTER SHOTGUN Changing the face of female fronted Rock!
Sister Shotgun are a five piece female fronted Rock band based in the West Midlands UK. They create a furious yet catchy mixture of hard rock and metal with a stage show to match.
The band started in the summer of 2011 when Martyn and Niall started jamming with friends. The original style of the band was very much 80's glam rock. The guitar duo were soon joined by singer Chloe Ozwell after writing a few songs and having the intention of taking the ideas that they had further. The addition of Michael (Woody) didn't come until a year later at the end of 2012. Niall was originally the band's bass player but after the band realised their songwriting required two guitars to get the required sound he picked back up his guitar and Woody stepped in to fill his boots. Adam was the last to join but there is no doubt he is the missing piece to the jigsaw puzzle. You can still hear the original 80's influence as one of the bands biggest influences today but they have now evolved into something a lot more modern by putting it's own twist on this with a mixture of heavy rock and metal. Each band member brings their own influences and style to fuse together what is now the sound you hear today.
Gaining positive feedback from everywhere they go from both fans and music critics alike, Sister Shotgun are now well on their way to musical success. Like a freight train just leaving the station with no brakes, this group of like minded individuals blend their musical talent and passion to form the band that is now travelling 100 miles an hour with their wheels heavily planted on the tracks and no plans of stopping.
ROBIN TAYLOR Robin Taylor is a singer-songwriter from Telford, Shropshire. His main passion is songwriting, hoping to one day make a living from playing his music, and it is the only thing in the world he wants to do!
MALLEN The 4 piece heavy rock band Mallen was officially formed at the end of 2013 as a culmination of Kelly-Jane (Vocals) Dean Ellis (Bass) Dann Pritchard (Guitar) and Thomas Crowfoot (Drums). Bringing together a fusion of everyones personal influences and playing styles Mallen are sure to bring a refreshing breathe of air to the heavy rock scene.
Forged in the heart of the West Midlands Mallen do not stray too far from their rock roots within the home of metal, with hard pushing riffs, heavy pulsating rhythms and large sweeping melodies. Mallen are sure to get the senses rushing, hairs standing and heart racing.
STONE BROKEN Stone Broken are a hard rock band from the West Midlands, UK.
They completed their line up in early 2013 and locked themselves away to start working on their debut E.P.
Having written a few songs they decided to play a couple of small local gigs to try them out and gain some feedback.
In October 2013 they went in to the studio to record a couple of tracks which will form part of their E.P.
They plan to release their debut E.P. and are looking forward to bringing this to the stage in 2014!!
