Motorpoint Arena Sheffield (originally Sheffield Arena and formerly Hallam FM Arena) is an arena in Sheffield, England. It is situated near Rotherham, Sheffield City Centre, Attercliffe, Meadowhall and the Centertainment and is the premier concert venue for Yorkshire. The arena opened as Sheffield Arena and was renamed Hallam FM Arena, but returned to its original name as of 1 November 2007. On 9 August 2010, Sheffield Arena was officially renamed Motorpoint Arena Sheffield, after the Derby based car sales company invested 1 million pounds to rename the venue. It is well known for hosting big name concerts and sporting events.
East Midland Trains - The Arena has two rail stations within easy reach of the venue: Sheffield's main railway station is situated in the City Centre - Sheaf Street, Sheffield, S1 2BP - and is approximately a 10 minute taxi or Supertram journey to the venue. An alternative station is available at Meadowhall Interchange - which has a Supertram link to the venue - approximately a 5 minute Supertram journey to the venue.
From the North: From junction 34 on the M1, take the third exit off the roundabout. Travel along the viaduct to the next roundabout. Take the A6178 towards Sheffield City Centre and Attercliffe. The arena is approximately one mile on the left just past Toys R Us. From the South: From junction 34 on the M1, take the second exit off the roundabout. Travel along the A6178 towards Sheffield City Centre and Attercliffe. The arena is approximately one mile on the left just past Toys R Us. The arena is clearly signposted and is located on the A6178 at the corner of Attercliffe Common and Broughton Lane.

Routes 17, 69, 130, 208, 209, 210, 287, 424, X5, X40,X69 and X73 all serve the venue.
Nearly 1,000 on-site car parking spaces are available with an additional over-flow facility for 200 cars (please note that the over-flow car park is locked 1 hour after the end of a show - when there is no show at the venue the over-flow car park is locked 24/7). Dependant upon the weather conditions there is a further over-flow car park next to the Arena in the Grass Bowl, thiscan accommodate an additional 500 vehicles. Car parking is payable upon entrance. The Arena has its own supertram stop, with Park & Ride facilities at all main entries to the city. The Arena tram stop is on the Yellow Route which operates from Meadowhall to Middlewood via the City Centre and Hillsborough, with the trams passing the Arena on it's own reserved tracks avoiding the traffic. The Arena recommends its customers to arrive early and where possible to use public transport - in particular the tram park and ride facilities as the Arena has its own Supertram stop - where possible additional trams will be laid on after the concert to meet demand, Supertram connects the park and ride facilities throughout the City to the Arena. Trams run approximately every 10 minutes from 6.00am until midnight.

All the above is subject to availability, so if tickets sell out before th Dancing on Ice Final Live Tour 2014 is delighted to announce that Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle, Broadway and West End theatre star Bonnie Langford, actress Suzanne Shaw and singer Gareth Gates will complete the celebrity line up. They will join singer and West End star Ray Quinn, former England Rugby Captain Kyran Bracken, Coronation Street's Hayley Tamaddon and comedian Joe Pasquale on this final tour.
Alongside this great line up of celebrities, the tour sees the return of the original TV judges. Olympic gold medal winner Robin Cousins who will head the panel along with former professional skaters Karen Barber and Nicky Slater. They will be on hand to give their expert feedback and all important scores to the celebrities and their skating partners.
The four week UK tour will start on 28th March at the Manchester Phones 4 U Arena before visiting London, Newcastle, Nottingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, Birmingham and culminating in Leeds on 27th April at the First Direct Arena. Fans will see their favourite skating couples competing live for the judges' votes and the audience can use their mobile phones to text vote for their favourite celebrity to win. Audience votes will then be added to the scores from the judges to decide the overall celebrity winner. The winning couple will then take to the ice for a magical finale performance of Bolero. All of the celebrities will be trained and choreographed by Torvill & Dean. Jayne and Chris who will also perform routines choreographed exclusively for the live tour, including a final performance of their legendary Bolero routine.
On announcing her place on the tour, Britain's greatest ever female gymnast Beth Tweddle said; "I'm excited to be joining the tour, having had such a wonderful experience on the TV show. I absolutely love skating and want to continue for as long as I can. Having competed as a gymnast for over 12 years, learning to skate has been a challenge, but one that I've loved and I can't wait to perform some of my favourite routines in front of the live audiences across the country!"
Broadway and West End theatre star Bonnie Langford commented; "Having been in the first series of Dancing on Ice, nine years ago and the final series, I'm thrilled to be going back on tour with Torvill & Dean. I had a ball last time round, so I'm delighted to be able to relive the magic of the TV show in front of arena audiences across the country."
Actress Suzanne Shaw said; "Winning Dancing on Ice in 2008 was such an amazing moment and I really enjoyed the tour afterwards. Being part of the final tour, with the brilliant Matt Evers, will be the perfect way to celebrate what has been one of the best experiences of my life - I can't wait to return!"
Multimillion selling singer and now one part of the ITV2 Big Reunion super group 5th Story, Gareth Gates said: "I've loved this series, so I'm glad I don't have to hang up my skates just yet - can't wait to get on the tour and skate all around the country! We're going to have a lot of fun."
