What is British Wildlife Festival?
British Wildlife is a festival curated by British Wildlife, an independent promoter who has for years put on the bands he likes and wants to support, and he thinks you should like and support these bands too.
When is British Wildlife Festival?
The gates to BWF in 2013 open at 7pm on Friday 1st March until late. The event kicks into life at 2.30pm on the 2nd and runs all day, and all night.
Where is British Wildlife Festival?
The hub of the festival is The Brudenell Social Club, 33 Queens Road, LS6 1NY. There will be a main stage in the main music hall and a pop up stage in the games room, sorry snooker fans!
Where do I stay?
There are a number of hotels around Hyde Park and Headingley, and plenty in Leeds town centre, taxi's are dirt cheap. I will soon be posting a list of recommended accommodation to keep your eyes peeled!
How many people will be at British Wildlife Festival?
The past few years upwards of 400 people have attended, which is a nice busy number and not too busy that you lose the affinity and closeness with the bands playing.
My band really wants to play, how can we?
British Wildlife is pretty much an invitational event where the promoter asks the bands to play or the band and the promoter all ready have a relationship from previous shows. But it’s always still worth hitting me up for any other shows that coming along.
I bought a ticket but can’t make it anymore! What do I do?
A refund can be issued online or in shops, but not after the event.
Tickets may not be sold online on auction sites or any other way for anything more than the face value of the ticket. If anyone tries to profit from selling tickets, their ticket will be voided and we will shun you forever.
Do you do need passes to photograph/video?
Nope. Anybody who buys a ticket to camp has as many rights as anyone else. You can photograph wherever you like, there are no barriers or all access areas you need access to. However it’s very nice to actually see your photos of the festival and we like to put them all online after the event, it even helps promote the event the following year so be sure to put them up on Facebook or email them to me.
We don’t offer full catering as the area around the Brudenell and is full of places to eat if you get hungry including The Grove Cafe and the world renowned Pitza Cano. We will however be serving Tea and Cake.
The Brudenell Social Club is a 16+ Venue, We don’t usually get very young children at our events but if we did we would probably let them in for free, so if you want to broaden the mind of your little scrumper just let me know in advance, thanks.
